Family FUNS is a family engagement programme that is designed to promote and support parents and families as a whole; taking part in physical activity together using stories, songs and explorative physical activities. It’s fully aligned to our school PE curriculum as well as the National Curriculum. Families who have children here at Newlands Primary School are invited to attend (Children to accompany them).
Through this project we hope to achieve a change in children’s learning behaviours as well as help develop parent’s confidence to play more physical games with their family.

Developing various skills such as: standing on 1 leg, jumping 2 footed in rhythm and quick reactions to catch bouncing balls.
