Southampton City Athletics

A fantastic (yet VERY HOT) day at Southampton Sports Centre, saw 23 Newlands pupils compete against 23 other schools from across Southampton. 

Pupils competed in Running, throwing and Jumping events.

All the pupils were exceptional and gave 100% to all the races and competitions. 

The pupils were true ambassadors for our school and displayed the Newlands values throughout the day. They supported each other throughout the events and even cheered on other schools.

Ayiah (Yr 3) 4th in the Yr 3 Girls 60m
