A Visit from the Saints Team and Other RBD News!
Southampton Football players Finn Azaz and Abbie Ferguson came to Newlands to make a film about learning sign language. It was great to swap skills and have a kick around after the BSL lesson too!
We now have 16 very lucky children appearing as Mascots at matches this month and football fans will notice a BSL interpreter at Southampton matches from now on. Look out for more photos soon!
Little Owls have been learning about the local area. As part of this, we have been learning to cross the road. We took all of our knowledge and went on a walk to practise. We were able to identify safe places to cross and even noticed some adults not crossing safely!
Meanwhile, Angelfish class and Owls class are nurturing some tiny tadpoles from the school pond… we are all waiting excitedly for froglets to appear!
