Music curriculum

 

The National Curriculum for Music aims to develop a child’s musicianship so that they may grow into confident, creative performers and discerning, critical listeners. At Newlands, we work in partnership with Showcase Music School. Whole classes are taught using their immersive scheme of work ‘Discover the Music’ which is centred around playing instruments and inspiring learning.
