Art at Newlands Primary School

Art plays a vital role in giving children a broad and balanced curriculum, by enriching creativity, skills and knowledge. The intent of our Art curriculum is to deliver an inspiring, engaging, and challenging curriculum that will enable children to know more, remember more and understand more. Through the progression of art across year groups, the children will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design in school and beyond.
