On Tuesday, Year 5 went on their trip to the Watercress Line.
The sun shone and it was a fantastic day, many of the children had not been on a train (let alone a steam train) before.
The children visited the bridge that used to be at Kings Cross and was filmed in the Harry Potter films. They then boarded the train at Ropley and travelled up and down the line to Medstead and Alresford where we ate our lunches.
Back at Ropley the children were given a challenge to build model bridges before going around the engine yard.
