Anti-Bullying Week
This week in school, the children have been ‘United Against Bullying’. We have used the week to explore what bullying is and what to do if we are worried about it. Children have explored through assemblies, films, discussion and a variety of other activities. They have come up with their own ideas about the definition of bullying and have worked to understand the ‘intentionally hurtful and repeatedly happening’ nature of bullying. Children continue to learn about an appreciation of ‘the same but different’ and to value individual uniqueness and celebrate difference.
There are lots of learning activities on the following page for anyone who has had to self-isolate this week. Click on the link or go to the Home Learning Section and Year Group page.
