What a busy day it has been. Room inspection marks have improved more and more with the staff being treated to specially prepared room songs!
We've had many opportunities to test ourselves at height, in teams and in problem solving activities. Tonight we are busy strutting our stuff at the famous PGL disco.
Many of us are so proud of overcoming our fears and learning new things about ourselves! The photos will prove this so take a look below.
Tomorrow we have our final challenges including the Zip Wire, Aero Ball and the toughest one of all - packing our suitcases! We are looking forward to seeing our families and to lots of sleep at the weekend.
It has been a fantastic experience for us all.
Today we had visitors when Mrs Griffiths, Mrs Jones, Mr West and some of Year 6 friends joined us for the day. It was lovely to see them and join in activities together. They enjoyed the food and looking at our accommodation, Some of our friends wished they could stay!
Today we braved the Abseiling Towers which was a real challenge. We also enjoyed orienteering and a beach walk.
Tomorrow it's a mix of The Giant Swing, Archery and Problem Solving...as well as the evening disco.
It's been a beautiful day down here at Osmington, if a little cold at times!
Up at 6.30am and into a lovely cooked breakfast by 7:30am.
Room inspections were harsh as Mrs Bloomfield scored the rooms for tidiness and deducted points left, right and centre! We were impressed with some of the room songs that the children have been preparing though.
Today's activities included a 4-5 mile hike, with ice creams; the dreaded Trapeze; the largest climbing wall we've ever seen and tonight the famous 'Cluedo' experience.
We've had a tiring day but just enough energy left to wish Lewis a happy birthday!
Hopefully everyone will sleep well tonight.
Dear parents and brothers/sisters
We have arrived safely, sorted out our bunks and rooms and eaten a tasty dinner. We have just sung a big happy birthday to Dylan and Emily.
Our evening activity with Molly (our PGL Group Leader) is about to start - 'Around the World'.
Tomorrow our activities include: Trapeze, Climbing Wall and a Hike ... maybe there will be an ice cream at some point too!

Newlands has been recognised as a School of Sanctuary and Mrs Jones and three of our Global Ambassadors, were invited to the Mayor's Parlour along with the 8 other schools across the city to receive an award.
Lucy, Lydia and Josh were received by the Mayor and the Mayoress and accepted the award on behalf of the school during a ceremony on Tuesday afternoon. Josh tried on the Mayor's robes and all three pupils were invited into the Mayoress' parlour and sat on the sofa where Royal visitors sit when they visit Southampton.
Our Global Ambassadors have also been fundraising for a refugee school in Jordan through a tombola and cake stall after the KS2 Sports Day and raised £62.
Parents are invited to attend a special assembly on Monday afternoon to learn more about our Global Week and School of Sanctuary Award.
